Romanian Govt Ponders Freezing Dignitary Wages In ’09

The proposition was included in a government document, obtained by MEDIAFAX, analyzing the economy in 2008 and the outlook for 2009.

"For dignitaries and public dignities, the government proposes the freezing of salaries for 2009," said the document under the heading "Social measures" within the package on the stimulation of economic growth and protection of the people’s economic interests.
