Boc said, during the Democratic Liberal Party's organization council, the draft pension law drawn up by the Government tries to solve inequity in the pension system.
The prime minister urged Democratic Liberal Party representatives to hold talks with pensioners on the draft pension law. He said people keep asking him when the draft will be approved by an emergency ordinance, adding such thing is not possible.
"I am confident the draft law will be adopted in Parliament by June," said the prime minister.
Boc underlined that Romania cannot afford to maintain the current pension systems that takes money from investments to pay "luxury" pensions.
