Romanian PM: Investing In Tourism Means Promoting Romania

"I think Romania needs to be promoted. I see tourism ads on all TV channels, saying «Come to Greece», «Come to Malta», «Come to Turkey», yet I have never seen any ad saying «Come to Romania», and I also think there are many beautiful things that haven’t been brought out so far. Therefore, I do believe that investing in tourism actually means promoting Romania," Boc said.

Boc made this statement during a press conference in Timisoara, western Romania, where he was asked to comment on the fact that Romania’s Tourism Ministry allocated EUR200,000, via no auction, to a TV show on private television station Realitatea TV in which the ministry’s logo can be spotted for a few seconds only.
