Romanian PM, Security Adviser Met Taubman For Talks On NATO Summit – Sources

"The talks lasted about an hour, and topics involved included the NATO reunion in Bucharest and security matters," government sources told MEDIAFAX.

The meeting between Tariceanu and Taubman took place after the Government meeting on the state of preparations for the NATO reunion.

The representatives of institutions involved in the organization of the NATO summit in Bucharest, between April 2 and 4, said that the preparations have registered significant advances, and the objectives set are met on time, according to a press release issued by the Government.

The High Council for National Defense will meet, Friday, to discuss the political agenda of the NATO summit in Bucharest, as well as to discuss security within the event.
