Romanian Posta Romana Wins RON50M Deal To Deliver Driver’s Licenses
Romanian state-owned postal company Posta Romana won a 50 million lei (EUR1-RON4.1912) deal to deliver driver’s licenses and car registration certificates at home, the state patrimony protocol management agency, or RA-APPS, said Thursday.

Posta Romana outwon two other bidders, namely delivery companies Posta Atlassib Curier Rapid and Fan Courier Express, RA-APPS said.
Posta Romana has over 7,100 offices in Romania and employs some 36,000 workers.
The company eyes gross revenue of RON371,000 in 2009, from losses of RON355,000 a year ago.
Romania’s Ministry of Communications owns 75% in the postal company, while investment fund Fondul Proprietatea owns the remaining 25% stake.
