Romanian Pres, PM Reached No Agreement Regarding Justice Min Proposal

The president said that neither him nor the Premier changed their points of view regarding the matter but agreed that a solution has to be found.

Earlier, the Prime Minister announced he would ask the president to meet and try to solve the situation created by the appointment of the new justice minister.

Last week, the president asked Tariceanu to discard the proposal of Nicolai for the position, saying her reputation has been dented in the public eye.

In his turn, Tariceanu told Basescu that his reasons for the rejection of senator Norica Nicolai as justice minister are ungrounded.
