Romanian President Calls For Single-Chamber Parliament, Pure Uninominal Voting
Romanian President Traian Basescu on Wednesday urged lawmakers to respect the outcome of the referendum organized in November 2009, when over 80% of people voted in favor of downsizing the Parliament to a single chamber and a maximum 300 MPs and introducing the pure uninominal voting system.
