Romanian President Klaus Iohannis condemned on Friday terrorist attacks at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, which left at least 49 dead.

“I am horrified to hear about the attacks in Christchurch, New Zealand. I firmly condemn this terrorist attack against innocent people. Extreme violence and hate-motivated crimes have no justification. Condolences for those who lost family or friends,” the Romanian president wrote on Twitter.
At least 49 people died and 20 other were injured in several armed attacks which took place at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand on Friday.
Authorities are treating the incidents as terrorist attacks, with several reports circulating in the local media of at least one shooter motivated by racial extremism.
