Romanian president Traian Basescu said Thursday in Warsaw, after the meeting with Polish counterpart Lech Kaczynski, that he is convinced Polish justice will solve the case involving Romanian citizen Claudiu Crulic’s death.

"I have expressed our confidence that Polish justice will correctly solve the Crulic case (…) which generated many emotions in Romania,” Basescu said.
 
In his turn, Lech Kaczynski said Polish justice will solve the case.
 
Romanian Claudiu Crulic passed away in April 2008 in a Polish hospital, after going on hunger strike, protesting against his arrest by authorities in Warsaw.
