Romanian President’s Proposed Education Pact To Be Signed Wednesday

The pact for education proposed by Romanian President Traian Basescu will be signed Wednesday afternoon at the Senate by all parliament party, except the far-right Greater Romania Party, or PRM, official sources told MEDIAFAX

The president discussed the pact a week ago with representatives of parliament parties. PRM refused to attend consultations.

At the end d of the meeting, officials of the Democratic Union of Magyars in Romania, the social democrats, the liberals and the democrat liberals that they are ready and willing to sing the pact.
