Romanian Prime Minister To Meet With European Parliament President On Wednesday

The meeting will tackle Romania’s upcoming EU council presidency, which the country will take over for a six-month period starting with January 2019.

Alongside the European Parliament President, the conference will also be attended by the institution’s secretary-general, Klaus Welle, as well as the leaders of the nine European political groups, according to a press release issued by the Romanian executive.

The event’s schedule also contains a meeting between the delegations of the European Parliament and the Romanian Government.
