The two companies, together with Minvest Deva, Baita Stei, located in the central part of the country, and Remin Baia Mare and Minbucovina Vatra Dornei, in the northern Romania, were transferred in 2007 from the Ministry of Economy and Finance to AVAS’s portfolio.
For Cupromin and Moldomin, the Ministry of Economy and Finance closed cooperation contracts with the Cuprom Energomineral and Ipronef mining concerns before transferring the companies to AVAS, and engaged itself to invest more than EUR240 million in the next five years.
