Romanian Romgaz To Resume Talks On Gas Cooperation With Gazprom
Romania’s largest gas producer Romgaz Medias and Russia’s Gazprom will resume last year’s talks on the cooperation within natural gas storage in Romania, Romgaz’s deputy general manager Lucian Stancu told MEDIAFAX Monday.

"The talks are scheduled to be continued at the end of January, in Bucharest, but the exact date was not set up yet," Stancu said.
In June 2009, the two companies signed a memorandum for the setting up of a joint venture in charge with building natural gas storage facilities in Romania and investing in the production of electricity.
Romgaz is majority owned by the Economy Ministry.
In 2010, the state-owned company plans to invest 1.2 billion lei (EUR1=RON4.1008), up 41% on the year.
