Thus, as of Friday, the prices of Efix 95 and Alto 101 gasoline will be of RON4.03 and RON4.64 per liter, respectively, Rompetrol said in a press release Thursday.
One liter of Efix and Alto 55 diesel oils will still cost RON3.84 and RON4.13 per liter, respectively.
The prices of fuel sold in the Rompetrol Downstream gas stations may vary by +/- 5%, compared with the reference prices.
Rompetrol is fully owned by KazMunayGaz, after the latter took over from Romanian businessman Dinu Patriciu the remaining 25% stake in the group in June this year. In August 2007, Patriciu sold a 75% stake in Rompetrol to KazMunayGaz for $1.6 billion.
