He said the prime minister might call for the replacement of certain ministers after the Cabinet enforces its austerity plan.
Oltean said one of the ministers he personally thinks should be replaced is Labor Minister Mihai Seitan.
On the other hand, deputy prime minister Marko Bela, who heads the Hungarian minority party which is part of the governing coalition, told MEDIAFAX he knows nothing of any plans for a Cabinet reshuffle and nothing of the sort has been discussed by the Government or by the ruling coalition.
"Nothing has been discussed so far about a reshuffle, neither in the Government nor in the ruling coalition," Marko told MEDIAFAX.
The Government will seek a confidence vote in Parliament to swiftly adopt an austerity plan that cuts wages, pensions and social welfare benefits and will face no-confidence motions promised by the opposition.
