Romanian School Teacher Catches Severe AH1N1 Flu
A school teacher in Bucharest developed a severe infection with the AH1N1 virus and children in her class were sent home for a week and will be monitored by their family physicians.

The woman spent two days in intensive care at Bucharest's 'Matei Bals' infectious diseases hospital and doctors are reserved about how her state of health will evolve.
Also, there is a 30% risk that people in her entourage caught the virus too, said hospital manager Adrian Streinu-Cercel, who is also secretary of state with the Health Ministry.
Streinu-Cercel said Romania now registers to cases of severe forms of the AH1N1 flu, the school teacher in Bucharest and a tenor in Cluj, northwestern Romania.
Romania has so far registered 441 cases of infection with the AH1N1 virus but most patients suffered mild forms of the illness.
