Skoda To Sell New Superb In Romania For EUR18,982, VAT Included

Porsche Romania, importer of Skoda brand on the local market, launched Tuesday the new car model Superb, available in three equipment versions, in a choice of three gas engines and three diesel engines, at prices ranging from EUR18,982 to EUR34,213, VAT included.

According to Skoda manager in Romania, Vlad Rusu, 60-65% of Superb models will be available with diesel engines, while the rest will be available with gas engines.

The 1.4-liter gas engine develops 125 HP and is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, while the second 1.8-liter gas engine develops 160 HP is mated either to a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic gearbox.

The most powerful 3.6-liter gas engine, which develops 260 HP, can be mated exclusively to a six-speed automatic gearbox, while the three 1.9 and 2-liter diesel engines develop 105 HP, 140 HP and 170 HP, respectively.

The new Superb will be available in three equipment versions -Comfort, Ambition and Elegance- and clients will be able to enjoy it as of mid-October.
