Vacaroiu said at the end of the Standing Office meeting that the plenary meeting will be held Tuesday at 09:30 local time. Topics covered in the meeting will include the two reports and decisions of the legal committee regarding the start of prosecution against former economy minister Codrut Seres and acting labor minister Paul Pacuraru.

Vacaroiu said the three reports of the legal committee were distributed in the senator boxes. In addition, the members of the Senate Standing Office and the group leaders also received the abstract reports of the Prosecution Office within the High Court of Justice, regarding the request for the commencement of criminal investigations against the two dignitaries.

Vacaroiu said the plenary meeting will begin with the validation of two new senators, which would facilitate the 137 senator quorum. In these conditions, the working quorum and the quorum for the start of criminal investigations will be, according to Vacaroiu, of 69 senators.

"Since we do not have the two reports for the validation of two new senators, this means there are 135 senators and, by way of consequence, the working quorum and the half plus one vote for the commencement of criminal investigations will be of 68 senators," Vacaroiu added.

The vote will be secret.
