Romanian Short Film "Megatron" Receives Stockholm Film Festival Award

Romanian film "Megatron", by Marian Crisan, won the award for best short film in the Stockholm Film Festival, which took place between November 20 and 30, said the Stockholm chapter of the Romanian Cultural Institute.

Crisan received the award in a ceremony Saturday evening.

“Megatron” tells the story of 8-year old Maxim who is celebrating his birthday with his mother at McDonald’s.

The film received the Palme d’Or award for short films in the Cannes Film Festival this year.
