Romanian Social Democrat Victor Ponta Voted In Targu-Jiu, S Romania

Ponta, who is running for a deputy position in Gorj county seat Targu Jiu, cast his vote, while Sarbu said she will vote in Bucharest, where she is based.

 

"Everybody is nervous before a competition, of course I am too,” Ponta said.

 

Some 305,000 voters are expected at the polls in Groj county, which will be represented din Parliament by six deputies and two senators. Fifty candidates joined the race, of which only one is independent.
