Geoana added, however, that the social democrats’ involvement in the governing process translates neither into unconditioned endorsement of initiatives and propositions voiced out by democrat liberal Prime Minister Emil Boc nor into obedience to President Traian Basescu.
He also pointed out the partnership between democrat liberals and social democrats does not include Basescu.
Furthermore, Geoana stressed the social democrats call on their democrat liberal partners to stop urging for solidarity, arguing the social democrats are only interested in serving Romania and its people.
