Romanian Social Democrats Should Be Ousted From Ruling Coalition - Democrat Liberal VP
The vice-president of Romania’s Democrat Liberal Party, Cezar Preda, on Sunday said the Social Democratic Party (PSD) should be ousted from the ruling, adding the social democrats are “tempted by power and money”.

“PSD won’t leave the ruling. If they wanted that and had considered any chances in the presidential elections with Mircea Geoana (party head-e.n.), it’s clear they would have done it by now. It’s obvious that the power of money and this way of handling, like they did with the liberals, is more tempting for them than being a party of the opposition. They are tempted by power, money, by complicity in dividing the government, in collaboration with the National Liberal Party. I think they shouldn’t leave the ruling. I think they should be ousted,” Preda said.
Preda accused the social democrats of “struggling in internal issues, of reorganization, of inner political fights, which affects the political climate, instead of being concerned about the situation of each citizen”.
