Romanian Tax Authority Must Collect Social Contributions Starting 2011 – Fin Minister

The Romanian National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) must collect all social contributions starting January 1, Finance Minister Gheorghe Ialomitianu said Tuesday in the labor committee of the Chamber of Deputies.

Ialomitianu said the collection of social contributions will have better results once ANAF takes over this task.

Pension contributions are currently collected by the Pension House, unemployment contributions by the Employment Agency and health contributions are collected by the National Health Insurance House.
