Romanian tourism minister Elena Udrea will attend, between May 5 and 8 the international tourism fair Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, with the purpose of persuading Arabian businesspeople to invest in Romanian tourism, said a press release issued by the Ministry of Tourism.

"We are present at this fair to bring tourists to Romania, but mostly to meet with potential investors from the Arab world. Romanian tourism needs a capital inflow and know-how, and in the countries I am visiting there could be businesspeople interested in investing in Romania," Udrea said.
The minister will attend the opening of the exposition, which will take place Tuesday, hosted by sheik Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates.
In addition, Elena Udrea will meet with sultan Bin Ahmed Al Qassimi, head of the Authority for the Development of Commerce and Tourism in the Sharjah Emirate, Ahmed Mohammd Al Midfa, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sharjah, Hamad M. Baumin, general director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sharjah, as well as the heads of the authorities for the development of tourism in the Dubai emirate, respectively the Abu Dhabi emirate.
Arabian Travel Market is the largest exposition of its type in the Middle East.
The Romanian presence in this fair is organized by the Ministry of Tourism and received a surface of 76 square meters.
