Romanian Women’s Handball Team In GF World Cup Final
Romania’s national women’s handball team beat France 23-21 (15-7) in the first semifinal of the GF World Cup, taking place in Aarhus, Denmark.

Romania scored through Neagu (8 goals), Manea (6), Amariei (3), Paraschiv (2), Bradeanu (2), Ardean (1), Moldovan (1). Mendy and Herbrecht (4 goals each) scored for France.
The second semifinal pits Denmark against Norway. The third place playoff, between France and the loser of the Nordic semifinal, will be held Sunday, at 3.15 p.m. (Romanian time). The final will be held two hours later.
Romania's team won the GF World Cup in 2009, after beating Norway in the final.
