Romtelecom Listing Postponed For ‘09 On Financial Mkts Crisis

"We want to float Romtelecom shares, where the state owns 45%, in spring next year, at a good price," Borbely said.

He added the contract with the consultant will be signed in a month and a half.

In February, Borbely said the company would be listed in October-November this year.

The Communication Ministry said it is considering listing Romtelecom on the Bucharest Stock Exchange or an international stock market, but the decision will be made after the consultant analyzes the company’s performance.
