Romania’s Rompetrol Cuts Diesel Oil Pump Prices By RON0.06/Liter

Romania’s second-largest oil company Rompetrol, owned by Kazakhstan's KazMunaiGaz, cut Thursday its diesel oil pump prices by 0.06 lei (EUR1=RON4.2764) per liter, keeping the same price for gasoline, the company said in a statement.

As of Thursday, one liter of Efix Diesel will cost RON3.56, while one liter of Winter diesel oil will be sold with RON3.86.

The price of gasoline will remain unchanged. Thus, one liter of unleaded Efix 95 and Alto 101 gasoline will still cost RON3.42 and RON4.07, respectively.

Rompetrol last changed its pump prices on February 21.

The prices of fuel sold in the Rompetrol Downstream gas stations may vary by +/- 5%, compared with the reference prices, Rompetrol said.

KazMunaiGaz owns a 75% stake in Rompetrol.
