Romanians Might Be Faced With Higher Prices As Of Feb ‘08

The price of natural gas is seen to increase by up to 20%. However, there are producers who say they only intend to increase prices by 2-3%.

The owners’ associations in the bread industry have already announced increasing prices for bakery products, following the increase in the price of wheat. However, a decision of the European Union stipulates that cereals can be imported free of tax from countries within the Union, which should keep the bread price unchanged.
