Romania Gets Code Yellow Warning For Hot Weather, Valid Until Saturday

“In this period, the weather will be hot, while the temperature-humidity indicator will exceed the 80 threshold,” meteorologists said.

The maximum temperatures will rise from one day to another, and they will exceed 38 degrees in the southern part of the country on Friday and Saturday.

The warning was issued for Bucharest and counties Alba, Arad, Arges, Bacau, Bihor, Botosani, Braila, Buzau, Calarasi, Caras-Severin, Constanta,  Dambovita, Dolj, Galati, Giurgiu, Gorj, Hunedoara, Iasi, Ialomita, Ilfov, Mehedinti, Neamt, Olt, Prahova, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Teleorman, Timis, Tulcea, Vaslui, Valcea and Vrancea.
