Russian President Putin Expected In Bucharest Thu, 6.45 pm - Sources

Russian president Vladimir Putin is expected to arrive in Bucharest Thursday, and the presidential airplane is expected to land on Bucharest’s international Henri Coanda airport around 6.45 pm, airport sources told MEDIAFAX Wednesday.

Putin is to meet with NATO heads of state Friday during the NATO-Russia Council. Later this week, Putin will meet with U.S. president George W. Bush in Sochi, Russia.
 
Bush in Bucharest Wednesday invited Russia to cooperate in the deployment of anti-missile defense capabilities, adding the defense plan is not aimed at Russia.
 
Bush also said Putin would attend the NATO summit.
