The projects would require a total investment of EUR180-200 million, Ziarul Financiar reported, adding E.ON did not comment the information.
According to data from state-owned electricity transporter Transelectrica (TEL.RO), the German company had secured the grid connection permits for three wind farms, with a capacity of 30, 46, and 36 MW respectively, all three farms being located in Vaslui county, in the northeastern Romanian region of Moldavia.
E.ON already operates on Romania’s gas and electricity markets.
