Romanian President: Global Economy Is Seen Worse

“A new assessment will be made public tomorrow (Thursday – e. n.), showing worse than the November-December [evaluation],” Basescu said, adding the appraisal on the global crisis effects is made by international institutions.

The global economy growth is to be revised from the previous forecast of 2.2% to 1.5%, thus Europe is going to be strongly affected, he said.
