Romanian Loan Guarantee Fund Grants EUR144M For Agriculture Programs In 1H

FGCR president Veronica Toncea said Thursday, during debates on agriculture, that in 2010 the number of agriculture projects concerning production decreased to 44%, in the context in which in 2009 they prevailed.

Toncea highlighted that 5,200 people have received loan guarantees this year, while in 2009 the number of beneficiaries hit 25,000. She went on saying that banks show more interest in supporting investments in the agriculture sector this year.
