The salary increase was due to granting some bonuses, in kind rights and financial aids from the salary fund, according to the statistics institute.

Employees in the oil and gas extraction industry saw the biggest average net salaries, at RON3,600, while the clothing industry employees were at the opposite pole with RON788.

September net average salary in agriculture was down 0.3% on the month to RON982, while the employees in the energy sector saw a 0.8% salary decrease on the month in September, to RON2,471.

Net salaries in industry averaged RON1,331 in September, up 2.1% from August.
