The exact value of the loan from the IMF was written Tuesday in the final form of the letter of intent.
The IMF delegation in Bucharest will announce Wednesday morning the main terms of the agreement with Romania in a news conference that will also be attended by European Commission and World Bank representatives.
The financial package agreed with Romania includes, alongside the IMF loan, a EUR5 billion loan from the European Commission, and EUR1 billion from the World Bank in a Development Policy Loan.
In addition, the European Investment Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will finance the private sector with another EUR1 billion.
