The provision is stipulated in a new draft emergency decree regarding public procurement.

In order to avoid any conflict of interests, economic operators who are relatives up to the fourth-degree of employees who fill decision-making positions within contracting authorities will not be allowed to participate in the auctions organized by these authorities, reads the draft normative act.

Under current laws, any economic operator, be it an individual or a group, can participate in an auction.
