Romanian Liberals Take Arms Against Bureaucracy, Taxation

The program includes a set of measures for the reduction of time, energy and resources wasted in a bureaucratic system. The program would help the citizen and support economic agents, as well as all categories of freelancers, the Vosganian said.

"The introduction of a single collection account – starting with 2008, all taxpayers will be able to pay their taxes in one single account for the state budget and one single account for the social security budget," Vosganian said.

Another measure is the expansion of the system allowing online submission of the tax statements.
