Discussions between the two came after a meeting democrat liberal leaders had Wednesday evening with the party’s lawmakers, when it was decided that the Government should be reshuffled. Lawmakers rejected the proposition that the entire Cabinet should be dismissed.

After talks with the head of state, Boc met again with the leaders of the Democratic Liberal Party.

Government sources told MEDIAFAX that Transport Minister Radu Berceanu, Finance Minister Sebastian Vladescu, Labor Minister Mihai Seitan and Agriculture Minister Mihail Dumitru had private talks with the prime minister, before a meeting of the party’s Executive College, when the Government reshuffling issue is expected to be tackled.

People close to the matter told MEDIAFAX Wednesday evening that democrat liberal lawmakers met with Boc and voted for reshuffling the Government, adding that only 12 democrat liberal lawmakers abstained from voting. During the meeting, the prime minister presented them with a report regarding the country’s economic situation.
