The Ministry said the service is available on the website of the Australian Immigration and Citizenship Department, on http://www.immi.gov.au/e_visa/visitors.htm.
The Ministry added the eVisitor system targets to provide equal chances and simplified proceedings for visa applicants across European Union states and from Andorra, Switzerland, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino and Vatican.
The eVisitor system is even more useful for Romanian citizens, considering that Australia does not have an embassy in Romania, the Ministry said.
The Ministry, however, stressed that visa applicants must provide accurate information and not resort to middlemen in the process.
