„We are seeing a dynamic beginning to the year on the residential segment, and increases of up to 8% in prices. However, we expect this early enthusiasm to deflate in the near future. It remains to be seen if buyers agree with these prices,” imobiliare.ro general manager Adrian Erimescu said in a statement Tuesday.

For new apartments, prices rose by up to 4% since the beginning of the year.

Launched in 2000, the imobiliare.ro portal serves some 19,000 visitors on a daily basis, and it includes one of the largest real estate databases nationwide.
