Doica resigned in November from his position in Fondul Proprietatea’s Surveillance Board.
Fondul Proprietatea, which was set up in December 2005 to compensate Romanians for properties seized under communism, should be listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The fund has assets estimated at more than EUR4 billion.
Romania, through the Ministry of Economy and Finance, is the majority shareholder in Fondul Proprietatea.
