Romania's gross domestic product is seen contracting by 4% in 2009 and growing a slight 0.1% in 2010, according to the National Prognosis Commission CNP spring estimations.

CNP has seen in its previous report the country’s gross domestic product growing by 2.5% in 2009 and by 4.5% in 2010.

CNP sees the economic growth in 2011 at 2.4%, compared with its previous 5.5% prognosis.
