Enel also targets the wind power field. It aims to have 175 MW wind turbines by 2010.

Enel will invest some EUR7 billion in renewable energy by 2012.

The group reported a net profit of EUR3.98 billion in 2007, up 31% compared with EUR3.04 billion a year before.
