Negoita’s proposed Cabinet is made up of: Vasile Blaga (Development and Tourism), Daniel Funeriu (Education, Research, Youth and Sports), Gabriel Oprea (Administration and Interior), Gheorghe Pogea (Finances), Mihai Seitan (Labor), Radu Berceanu (Transports and Communication), Valeriu Tabara (Agriculture), Adriean Videanu (Economy and Trade), Anton Cristian Irimie (Health), Mihai Stanisoara (Defense), Catalin Predoiu (Justice), Bogdan Aurescu (Foreign Affairs), Sulfina Barbu (Environment) and Theodor Paleologu (Culture).
Negoita’s list includes some of the ministers proposed by his predecessor, Lucian Croitoru, who were rejected by the Parliament. The ministries for Small and Medium Enterprises, Youth and Sports, Communications, Liaison with the Parliament, and Tourism have been merged into other ministries.
The prime minister-designate said he relies on the support of democrat liberal and independent MPs.
