FMS International Signs Romanian Marinescu To Complete Formula BMW Line-Up

The 17-year-old Romanian driver will join British Oliver Millroy and Brazilian Pedro Bianchini to race in the 2008 series, FMS International said in a statement.

"I am very happy to be competing in the new Formula BMW Championship and it is a great honor to sign with Fisichella Motor Sport,” Marinescu said.

F1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella, founder of FMS International, showed confidence in the skills of the Romanian driver.  “Mihai is a promising young star, well known in his country and capable of fighting for outright honors from the very first race,” Fisichella said.
