Bucharest Mayor Appoints Interim Head Of Public Service Dept

Bucharest general mayor Sorin Oprescu Thursday appointed Marian Turlea as interim director of the General Infrastructure and Public Service Department within Bucharest mayoralty, replacing Gheorghe Udriste who resigned Wednesday.

Turlea will be running the department until the position is filled through contest.
 
Udriste resigned one day after Oprescu sacked Claudiu Balan, head of the Street Administration Department within the mayoralty.
 
The discipline commission for public servants previously analyzed Balan’s activity and recommend his dismissal.
