"Unfortunately, women’s football is very hard to develop, because people are reticent. Over the next two years we will have to force, by rules, League I and League II clubs to implement women’s football teams," Sandu said.
Sandu asked the Ministry of Education to implement three hours of physical education in Romanian schools.
The official added the Football Federation will receive EUR100,000 from UEFA to develop basic football.
