Stolojan said he would not be interested in becoming the next BNR governor once current governor Mugur Isarescu ends his term.
The dignitary said that the bank currently fulfils all its duties given its limited possibilities. However, Stolojan criticized the bank’s management for not being clearer in the statements it makes.
The official added BNR acts within the limits of its competence on the money market.
