Three Romanian Workers Caught In Construction Cave-In

Rescuers in Romanian capital Bucharest are trying to rescue three workers trapped after a cave-in at a construction site near Baneasa airport, but the men have been given little chance for survival.

A forth worker was reportedly taken out of the area and transported to a hospital.

The Bucharest Emergencies Inspectorate was notified around 18.30 hrs local time about a cave-in at the construction site for Baneasa Passageway that completely buried three workers.

However, chances for survival are very slim, according to Alin Grasu, manager of the Bucharest Ambulance Service.
