Romanian Car Maker Dacia To Expand Model Range After SUV Launch

Lecharpy stated that the Dacia Duster concept car took one year to build, from the first blueprints to its completion. The car combines the shape of a coupe with that of a Multi Purpose Vehicle aimed at families. It stands 1.49 meters tall, 4.25 meters long and 1.64 meters wide. The car goes from naught to 100 kilometers/hour in 9.6 seconds.

In a press conference unveiling the Dacia Duster concept car, at the Geneva auto show in early March, Lecharpy stated that the SUV could be followed by other concepts, such as the cross-over. According to French group Renault, which owns Dacia, the new models will be completed in a few years.
